How we test AI tools at AI SI Daily
Our rules: we pay for the tools, record the version and environment, show real screenshots and bills, and label price sources and verification status.
Every review on AI SI Daily follows the same rules.
1. We actually use it
Each post records the tool version, test date and environment (OS, hardware, plan). If we have not run it ourselves, it is not a review.
2. Real output, real cost
We show screenshots of what the tool produced and, where money is involved, what it cost us for that output.
3. Price sources and verification labels
Our pricing database links vendor pricing pages with review dates and labels context tiers, peak/off-peak schedules, promotions and regional conditions. Agent checks against official documentation are identified as such; they do not imply manual verification or billing tests. Models absent from official pages or blocked from verification retain their name and explanation without an unconfirmed numeric price.
4. Disclosure
If a link earns us a commission, the page says so, and the link is marked rel="sponsored".
5. Independence
AI SI Daily is not affiliated with the UK AI Security Institute (AISI) or the US Center for AI Standards and Innovation (CAISI).
