Are my photos uploaded?
No. Image decoding, AI inference and PNG export happen in this browser. The first run downloads an AI model, which is cached locally when browser storage is available.
Which images can I use?
JPG, PNG and WebP, up to 20 MB and 24 megapixels per image. No photo is sent to a third-party removal service.
Is the download full resolution?
The PNG keeps the original width and height. AI estimates a mask at a lower resolution, so fine hair, transparent objects and difficult edges may need further editing.
Why does the first run take longer?
It downloads a 50.7 MB model once and saves it on this device. The download starts in the background when the page opens, so you can pick an image meanwhile; with Data Saver on or on a 2G/3G connection, it waits until you tap download or start using the tool. Speed depends on your device; CPU is attempted if WebGPU is unavailable. Older or low-memory devices may not finish.
Does it work offline?
This version is not a complete offline application. Model caching reduces repeat downloads, but browsers can evict cached files and the page still needs to open normally.
